Starting this thing off.

Goals this week to start off the competition:


1.  Eat less at meals
2.  Exercise at least 4 times a week (I love DDP Yoga and walking)
3.  Drink more water!!!  I'm down to 1 coke a week (miracle!!), but I tend to just not drink.
4.  Cook my own food with one eat-out meal a week.




It's day 3 of the competition and I'm doing well on all of these so far.  I've only walked once this week, so I have to step that up.  I'm not too scared for Valentine's day, since we're not really celebrators (Romantic breakfast of whole wheat, organic heart pancakes and sausage is our only plan for the holiday), but I did just realize that we will be going on vacation for one week of the challenge in March.  We'll be staying at a friend's house with access to a kitchen, so that will make it easier, but I'll definitely have to make a plan before we go and stick to it!

  1. YES! Make plans and stick to em for vacations. Trips KILL me…EVERYTIME! Long road trips I do ok because we pack a big cooler of fruits and veggies, but when it's just Jase and I and we fly somewhere…I'm screwed! Good job on the coke! I have NEVER been a soda drinker…except an occasional root beer at the movies, but I started drinking Hansen's Ginger Ale a couple of weeks ago! UGH! I only have about 2 a week, but I HATE drinking my calories!!!! I wish we lived closer! I'd LOVE to walk with you!!! I need a walking buddy but I don't have any friends out here except family….and they either go to the gym, tennis or work. :( Anway, great goals! I'm so glad you're doing this with me! I need Hatch power!
